Cocktail Making

The Bar is Open

Enjoy one of the cocktails our barmaster Mr. Jenkins has prepared for you. Then feel free to sit back, relax and listen to us bullshit for forty minutes.

Earl Grey Marteani

1 1/2 oz Earl grey infused gin*

3/4 oz lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup

1 egg white

 

Dry shake all ingredients, then shake over ice. Serve in a sugar rimmed coupe; no garnish

 

*add 4 oz of loose leaf Earl grey tea (Twinings) to a 750ml bottle of London dry gin and shake. Let the tea steep for 3-4 hours, then strain through a coffee filter.

The Last Word

1 oz lime juice
1 oz maraschino liqueur 
1 oz green chartreuse 
1 oz gin (London dry preferred)

Shake over ice and serve up in a coupe; no garnish. 

Melon Ball

1 oz Midori liqueur 
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz orange liqueur (dry curaçao)
1 1/2 oz orange juice
1 dash orange bitters

Shake over ice and serve over ice in a highball glass; no garnish

2 oz rye whiskey

1-2 barspoons simple syrup

4 dashes Peychauds bitters

 

Stir over ice and serve neat in an absinthe-rinsed double old fashioned glass; no garnish.

2 oz Bourbon 

1 oz Campari

1 oz Sweet Vermouth

 

Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a coupe. Garnish with an orange twist

1 oz Cointreau

3/4 oz lemon juice

 

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a sugar-rimmed coupe (alternatively you can garnish with an orange twist)
